Called today claiming to be updating our 118/Directory Enquiries entry. Confirmed various info about our company including name and address. No doubt we ll now be getting a lot more spam and unsolicited calls.

This number has called more than once over the last couple of days. Nuisance

Caller claimed to be from Serif UK, the software company. They wanted to do a survey, and when I told them I don t do surveys over the phone, nor do I confirm details someone claims to have about me, they slipped up and said they wanted to do a survey about my household finances, not the sort of thing Serif does. I regularly speak to Serif on other matters and never had this kind of conversation with them. I reckon they were out on a Phishing trip, but they didn t get even a nibble from me.

Cost trap called back to a recorded message, I disconnected after 3 seconds and got charged 41p. Message said in a computer voice that its the local boiler cleaning company... Don t think so

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Received 4 nov 2014. Currently abroad so I don't want to waste any more money on picking up spam calls, therefore did not answer.

Normally don t pick up unknown calls but the number was similar to one I was expecting so mistakenly answered. Think this was an Indian call centre and the guy rambled something about pensions. I said I wasn t interested. He tried to stop me from hanging up by saying it wasn t a sales call (?)... Something along the lines if pension release. I swiftly said I don t have a pension and he was no longer interested in keeping me on the call. Sounds dodgy to me... As many people say this number is Talk Talk. E
