"Called the number back, and yes customer is with talktalk and they had call screening in place. It seems a call centre is using this number as a mask to make calls from the internet, and therefore when you call the number back you don't get them but an innocent talk talk customer."

"phone seemed dead when I answered, but eventually a gentleman who struggled with his English tried to talk to me about a uk government scheme for boilers. For some reason my English was not at its normal competent level today, and a very pleasant cross purposes conversation was entered into, eventually the other gentleman disconnected and I would like to think crawled back into the hole he had emerged from, but more than likely to try and con somebody else"

I keep getting plagued with calls from Manchester. Unknown number so didnt answer. They left no message. I have blocked the number.

SCAM - States they are from a debt advice line and calling to inform you of Government legislation that can reduce your debt.
Account manager for quickbooks, calling because I was paying for extra profiles, really helpful!

I am pretty sure this number is a scam number trying to make contact over an apparent bank transaction. It is bogus. I would block this number.
Seems like a scam. Rings but no one at the Rotherham end of the line. Beware!
