Just had this number call me and the caller was so rude to me I searched the number. He asked for the homeowner and I said what is it regarding and they said it s regarding the homeowner can I speak to them. I said if its an unsolicited call he wont be interested please tell me what it is regarding. They said this is a VERY important phone call and you are asking me to breach the data protection act by asking what this confidential call is about!!The caller was male I am female and he was extremely rude,

Call received in France. Caller knew my name, and that I was English. Spoke with Indian/Pakistani accent. Purported to be from Orange (telecoms) wanted to check my internet line; Got very evasive when I asked why Orange France would be calling from the the UK. (Isle of Man as it turns out). When I pointed out that Orange was not my Internet provider,said would check and call back Some sort of scam?

Caller claimed not to be a cold call despite them not knowing me or I them. Tried ask questions about who the home owner is so called him an idiot and hung up
Silent number but heard call centre noises in background. Suspicious as similar to another number that is scamming people with fraudulent internet problems.
