Suspected scam related to funding house purchase, claimed to have been asked to contact me by estate agent. Message came via WhatsApp then text.
Today, someone called my number and claimed that they needed to repair my house. When I told them that they were a scammer, they immediately disconnected. The person sounded like they were from India and struggled with English.

Seems to be a number that is dialled by the subscribed to "fall" alarm installed. I use the call button to cancel false alarms. Annoyingly this is a premium number in my phone package.
This a number scammers give you to call for bank fraud. It's a call to another scammer who will then proceed to try to rob you by getting you to buy gift cards for them, they will "open a secure account" fur you and get you to transfer big money into it, or send cash wrapped in foil to some random address to "secure your bank" there's no one you can report this to as its a spoofed number. Cold call claiming to be about my Life insurance from "MEH", they had my name but no details as to who my provider(s) were. Talking about issue of not being covered due to non-disclosure for older policies. Claimed not to be sales, but during the call I did hear in the background applause and cheers (which indicates someone did make a sale in the same room). Said they were from CarphoneWarehouse. Offered me a deal on an iPhone 13. I said I had recently started a contract so wasn't interested. She said they would buy out my current contract and also were not trying to get me on a conract either. Sounded super scammy!
Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.
This number called me and said my card had been used twice, first for £500, than the second for £1000 with Amazon. Obviously a scam.
Somebody called me using this number and hang up quickly. I am not going to call back.
