Want you to invest then keep your money

Pretending to be HMRC telling me I'm under surveillance and have a law pursuit against me and if I didn't reply something will happen. Left me shaken and scared. Have phoned police to make them aware.

Called repeatedly claiming to offer a courtesy call relating to a recent goverment policy involving funeral costs, as soon as you try to indicate you have no intrest or need of this call they will become aggressive and hang up only to call a few hours later

SCAM Persistent automated calls claiming to be from 'your internet provider' (immediately an obvious scam as your own internet provider would identify themselves!) then threatens disconnection due to illegal activity on the account. Presume will then attempt to extort money, but don't listen to call beyond the first bit.

Just rung by someone claiming this was his company's number and he worked for "Accident Investigation Department". Trying to get details off me regarding a possible road traffic accident, no doubt to start an insurance scam. However I have no p

It has called me too many times

Called this morning around 6.30am. My heart was racing being woken up to a landline number that only family members have. As I could see international call on caller display I did not answer and have blocked the number as I have that option on my Panasonic

Update for my entry 19/04/17. Call from this number received after placing ad on Gumtree to sell a car. Caller spoke with South Asian accent, claiming to represent, MTA Solicitors regarding a Road Traffic Collision. I contacted MTA Solicitors directly. They do not make or condone cold calls whatsoever. Any cold call received where the caller purports to be from or acting on behalf of MTA Solicitors, should be treated as fraudulent.
