Got a call today from this number. The guy didn t introduce himself but said he was from Google marketing and wanted £180 to put my page on a first page search. (I do this myself already). I said I could do what he was offering for next to nothing and at that point the caller got aggressive, I hung up him. He s obviously a chancer trying to scam people out of money. Yet another sad fool giving Manchester a bad name. I will be reporting him to Google.

My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.

Scam call pretending to be from Amazon and wanting me to press a key to unblock my account.
They said my protection was finished for tv, we don t have protection for it.
This number rang my mobile several times, didn t recognise number so have never answered. Very annoying. People who make these calls should respect themselves more. Grateful for comments of others and for this site, keep up the good work!

My father had a call from this number. Stupid enough that they asked him for his bank details... well, he told them all. Noticing too late, that this might be scam. Indian accent man named Kevin said he was calling from Microsoft as there is a problem with my computer. I told him that I knew this to be a scam phone call.Eventually he hung up but within seconds called me back. This time the number came up as unavailable. He asked me different personal questions to which I answered that it was none of his business.
