Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

This number together with other number within the range of 07957 422000 to 07957 422999 is being used by the National Crime Agency (NCA) scammers trying to target UK citizens to get them to reveal data to them and probably to ripped off your Bank details. I have had 4 calls in the last 24 hours from 4 seaparate numbers within the above range. I was already aware of this scam so I did not press 1 after listerning to the automated message. Normally I don't answer unknown numbers but expecting an engineer.

Fraud. Number showed on mobile as Helen Hirst Design, a company that no longer exists. Follow up email came from Hong Kong giving number as ++852 3002 2377. Boiler room scam!

Hi my name is Mrs Margaret Bird, I was left a message on my mobile at the end of last week. I did ring back on Friday afternoon & was told that I would be contacted this morning. My mobile number is 07708696000 & my address is 6 Duncan Avenue, Otley, LS21 3LN. I think the call was about a scan that I had at Harrogate Nightingale on 22nd September. called me to make sure i had renewed which i had and i informed them that i do not wish to use their services as i assumed it was a sales call, to which they replied that they were not trying to change me over - they were trying to prevent any further calls coming through as they knew i had already renewed my plan they had all my contract details also which made me less wary and now i know ill only be dealing with 1 company and this 1 company only ! just read some of these reviews and it makes me chuck
