Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181422xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance marketing - mostly Harrington Consultancy. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Not sure what the caller's name was, and I couldn't understand the company name (I suspect that she was being purposefully vague) but they stated that I'd made an 'online enquiry' and started asking for my personal details. I didn't share them, but they kept asking. I suspect spam or phishing.
Called and asked to speak to the phone contract owner, then sounded like they dropped the phone and just started laughing hysterically. I hung up.
