This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

same scammy call My advice is to always do what I do with these scam type calls; 1. use your phone to make a recording of 1 second of silence. (keep this 1 second silence in your ringtone or media folder) 2.Save the recording and call it scamtone or something. 3. then enter the scammy number into your address book as ; scam1, scam2, scam 3 etc. Each one represents a different scammy number that you get over time. 4. finally, associate the 1 second of silence with each scammy number as a ringto

Call from Horizon Travel, apparently responding to a request I'd made to their website (I hadn't). Offering free accommodation for 2 nights, but need to pay for breakfast. This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites.
