Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618148xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Legal Advice Centre, RTA - traffic accident, PPI, insurance claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

This number is British Gas - probably payment collections department. When you call it back, it goes to a main menu with a series of options to hear balance / pay bill.
I am receiveing this call almost every day stating, they are calling feom carphone warehouse. As my contract is aboit to finish, they want to give me good deal, as i am not interested in any telephonic advertisement, i block the number.
