I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.

After getting a couple of quotes which weren t appealing at all, i decided to have a look online in which i found some much better prices. online. These people have been calling my mobile a lot. I answered on the second call today and a girl told me she was from Albany Assured. I asked what she was calling about and she said something about a claim on my car insurance due to an accident (she knew my full name). That s all I needed to hear to know the call was a load of nonsense because I don t drive and have never even had a license. When I said I didn t drive she said "but have you in the last 2 years?" And that s when I said I ve never had a license

I just had one too. Caller had a strong scouse accent.

They ring at least 3 times a day regarding ppi. Pressing 5 DOES NOT remove you from their list. Nor does pressing 9 and speaking to the knobber who answers because as soon as you try to explain that you don t want them to keep calling they hang up on you. Reporting them now every single time they harrass me.
