Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.

Scam from pretending to be HMRC Credit Claims department.

Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.

Recorded message from “bank security”. Obvious scam.

Called a 99 year lady for a second time in 4 days stating it was a government call thankfully the lady had her wits about her and intercommed me (scheme manager) to come and take over the call. When I mentioned who I was the caller immediately hung up

Claimed to be from BT, asked if someone 'was online before midnight or from midnight to 3am. Then said the IP address was being used by malicious software and offered 'next steps' to follow. I hung up. Scam.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

SCAM. supposedly a call from visa security saying there had been fraudulent transactions on my account. The number is registered to a Garage services company in Burton on Trent.

Received a text asking if I fancy winning a MacBook Air? With a link to follow stating There we’re 10 up for grabs! What I don’t understand is how they even know my name. I tried dialling the number and it is not recognised. SCAM!!!!

Looks like a classic "You owe tax" asked for my name and occupation and obviously I gave completely false info and yet they carried on like I just confirmed my identity.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Scam automated called from “HMRC” re non payment of tax. Press a number to avoid being taken to court.

Phone call offering me a new phone and contract with massive savings. When I asked question that the caller was not prepared for or on her script she became very confused. I gave her false information about my phone, contract cost and provider and asked more questions that she could not answer she hung up. Number now blocked.
