I missed 8 calls from this number in the space of 10 mins! When I spotted the missed calls I called back(no voicemail messages had been recorded) I had assumed it was very urgent owing to the persistence of the caller - the number is not recognised. Updated: just picked up a call - it seems I d had an accident, couldn t help but play along .... after a while I added that I was a police officer (which I m not!) and the line went dead - how odd.

I got a call from this number in past and blocked it they tried ringing me again just now but thanks to call blocking on my phone they couldn't connect

Annoying foreign sounding 'we see you've had a minor accident' type insurance sales(?) pitch

Scam caller, probably from India. Became abusive as soon as I asked for a number to verify he was calling from "BT Internet Security Dept"

tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.

Scam about washing machine cover - they even passed me to a ?manager? when I said I didn?t have a policy with them! When I asked for proof because I didn?t believe them, they hung up on me! Avoid!

Sounded like an Asian call centre. The callers voice was faint and I cold not understand what they wanted. Since this is a mobile number and the caller appeared to be in a call centre I consider it suspect.

Guy called "Jim"c asked for me and said he had 30 tickets reserved for my daughter (he used her name) @ 45euros for 5 Irish Lotto tickets. Claimed to be fromm Winners Lotto, gave the number (confirmed by 1471) and a website winner lotto.org. website exists but I wouldn t trust it.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Just got a call from this number asking for someone with the correct surname and initial but different first name. I said they had the wrong number; she then asked me if we lived at an address that I d never heard of; I said no; so she asked me if we lived in an area without mains gas supply; I said no. She thanked me for my help, and that was it. I have no idea what it was all about???
