I have had several instances of an Indian woman who knows my name (and obviously phone No.) asking me to access my computer as there were security flaws. I told them that I knew it was a scam and that I would call the police. I have also received silent calls.
SCAM automated message claiming to be from amazon saying a large amount of money had been charged to this account. Hung up as clearly a scam amazon doesn't have our home number on file.

I said I didn't know I had washing machine insurance and the female voice (Marie/Maria) said she would send me the details through the post. I wait with bated breath ...
