Man called - said his name was Sean Cruz - said he was from the Citizens Advice - got my details from the Office of Fair Trading. Said his address was 24 Lancashire!! I pressed him more, said his address was 24 Heather Ave, Lancashire, 208 001 Tried to get details out of me, I would not confirm anything. Told him I was registered with TPS and he should not be calling. He told me he s been getting away with these calls for years and TPS were useless. This number calls me every day with two or three times at about 10 minute intervals. They never leave any messages. Clearly they know that I would not wish to speak to them. They seem associated with another number 07482874785 which also calls each day with the same pattern and often one number makes its calls and is then followed 10 to 15 minutes later by the sequence from the other number.

automated voice says they were from a bank checking payments - did not say which bank - sounded like a scam. I hung up
kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID

SCAM. The full number is 0049 3549 72863, which suggests it is from Germany, though the man on the phone had an Indian accent. He claimed to be from 'Sky's Technical Department' and he'd had a report that my internet was running slow. Which was strange, because I hadn't reported any such fault and my internet is working fine/ So I strongly suspected it wasn't a genuine call from Sky and hung up.
