Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

Just called us.Being aware of them from this site I told them we were not interested. She started down the "So you don t care about the children then"? route.I hung up on her.

Have taken to cancelling the call and blocking caller

General opinion seems to be that it is Tesco. I don`t shop with them and have none of their other products/services, so not sure why they phoned

Life insurance using a local number

I didn t answer. Tried to return the call but it when straight to an automated message, stating that they were calling me about my recent claim, that I didn t make.

I missed this call , it was concerning a genuine delivery

Keep calling them nobody there, just annoying.

This number has been calling me for regularly since February. They hang up as soon as I answer. I believe it is also timeshare/accommodation sells.

Called several times and leaves message with my wife that he needs to speak to me and that I am a contact of his. Never heard of Dennis Preston and WCT. Sounds like Boiler House bollocks. Avoid.

Foreign sounding gentleman, long pause after my first hello. I hung up and dialled 1471 to get their number. Hey presto, it s on here.

Called to verify that a card transaction was in progress, but the person using it had failed security! This call save me being scammed, accept this call, will save you a nightmare
