Indian sounding voice wanted to know if i had been in a minor accident? Did not know any details therefore told him he was scamming and put him on speaker phone so that he could hear all the accidents i was having controlling my remote controlled car in th
called a school phone number. it was an automated message claiming to be from HMRC. told not to ignore call as it was a court matter and legal action would be taken if call not returned.

This is a fax scam from the well known scammers who send you (normally a company) postal letter for a catalogue or database inclusion and if you or any of your employees make a mistake, sign it and send or fax it back they will bill you £960 per for 2 years minimum, and even take you to the UK court if you don't pay. They are listed as an Austrian company but if fact it's a total scam and the number should be delisted by Ofcom

September 24 at 1006 hrs. Asian sounding female caller said she was from Benefits UK, and asked for me by my surname, which I didn t confirm. I said that I m sick of getting calls from you, and have already told you not to ring me again. She was trying to keep me talking, and wouldn t listen to the fact that I wasn t going to be engaged in conversation. I said that I was going to block the number, and she eventually did hang up before I did. I think that she was wanting me to take part in a "survey".

I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam.
