Someone just called from this no. claiming to be from Amazon. They were female with a strong Indian accent. Said someone had tried purchasing a Canon camera on my account last night in Germany. None of my personal details were confirmed with me and they wouldn't let me ask any questions. Obviously their tactic is to rush you in to the "cancellation" process as it's urgent. Asian lady claiming my BT IP address had been hacked. Asked me to search Google using a specific phrase which includes "my IP address location" (the word location is critical) - and this initially displays an California IP address but if you do the check properly - do not use the exact wording - you will find your IP address is a UK registered BT one. Do not be persuaded to link to any other website or download a program to "fix" the problem.
