Scam caller, claiming to be from BT Open Reach. Says that your router is causing an issue on the phone network before trying to gain access to your computer.
The dialer hung up as soon as I answered. When I called back went to answering machine - apparently is a company called Active8Now Call 0800 5244309 to be removed from list it says. Not sure if I want to call them!
Fraudulent - same pattern as other posts - asks for quote. Went into branch and paid a cheque in for much more than the order value then requested reimbursement of difference. We did not fall for it because we smelt a rat. Total scammers DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

Insistent young man trying to get me to take a Medi-Alert pendant for only £30ish a month even though I kept telling him I wasn't old, infirm or feeble enough to need such a thing. I've no doubt that if a vulnerable person receives this call, they'll be conned into buying something I'm sure they would receive free from their local authority or health board.
Called twice today by this number, obviously a call centre judging by the noise in the background, repeatedly asked who was calling, no answer given. Not the first time called ...
