Normally don't answer the phone for numbers not recognised, but was expecting a call from a Leeds no. so took the plunge. Also received from 01795432276. Caller said that £300 would be debited from our account from Amazon, also a much larger amount. These are not the first times these calls have been received. Checks on my accounts haven't found and debits so they must be scams.
SCAM: It says it's from Santander to approve a direct debit to someone I have never heard of in Ireland, has suspicious link.
I answered but said nothing. Caller then went into prepared speech.......local energy advisor, assume you're the homeowner etc., etc. I ended the call, called back and the number was invalid.

Automated call ... Fraud 07477162171 - a badly recorded auto-voice informed me that the content of a form I've submitted to HMRC required investigation, and I should "Press 1" to speak to their team. So I hung up.
SCAM. Prerecorded message claiming £900 fraudulent payment made from my Visa account, when I answered on their second call today. Parasites should be offended to be compared to these idiots. Blocked.
