Had a call from this number 17th October. Caller with very strong Asian accent said he wanted to talk about my personal pension details. I ended the call immediately.

This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

Alpine Services called me saying I had been involved in a motor accident, which of course I had not. Phishing. They are NOT CONNECTED in any way to Alpine Insurance Services Ltd of Hadleigh Essex, who have traded reputable for over 30 years and never made these type of nuisance calls.

They called me repeatedly and at some point i just answered and although I didn t really understood what they wanted, they started asking for my personal information. At that point I clearly told them that I m not gonna reveal any of it. They hung up. Better for them
