SCAM Claimed to be from Citizen's Advice concerning debt. Consultations with CAB are confidential, they don't give out people's details without permission, but I haven't spoken to them for many years anyway.
A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. I call the first number, there was no ring tone. The second number did put me thro to an operator but I hung up. I find it a bit suspicious as they claimed to be calling on behalf of the union Unite. SCAM Presume it's a scam. Called by them several times in the last few days without anyone speaking. Today someone started to speak but hung up as soon as I started to instruct them to remove my number from their call list.

SCAM - very unpleasant call. Recorded message on voicemail (electronic voice) said if I didnt answer I would be arrested immediately. So far no arrest, so looks like I havent woken up in a dystopian nightmare where the police issues threatening electronic messages for 'criminals' afterall. Could be very frightening for some.

When I started my business 18 months ago I had a call from 118, regarding my free listing . I went with it initially, but ended up calling them to take it down, as salesmen wouldn t stop calling and I even had a few just turn up at the premises! I had NO legitimate business come through 118, they didn t even list the business details correctly. Called today. Unknown and therefore not answered. Have no dealings/contacts with Brighton area so assume a nuisance or unsolicited call.
Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.
