This number comes from Stoke-on-Trent, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck - similar number is reported with some telemarketer - The Claims Team. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

SCAM 01392433831 called me today approximately 11pm on my landline - I don't say anything when i answer and wait for the caller to speak first - but when I took the call it had a very noisy background like a call centre, but no discernible conversations then the caller hung up. This is a typical nuisance call - usually from overseas with heavily accented BT/O2/Vodafone/EE 'Technician' wanting to access my accounts etc. They always hangup if i don't say anything first.

Automated call claiming that there is a tax fraud claim against me and if I don't press 1 a warrant will be issued for my arrest!!!

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1792917xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims (also reclaim money from holidays) / insurance marketing / energy schemes. J

Called twice in two days, claimed to be named "Alice" the first time (unlikely, given her heavy Indian accent), claimed to be from BT Openreach. We use a VOIP system so I put the phone down. Second time, gave no name but claimed to be calling from "[y]our electricity provider". I asked her which one, she took a stab at EDF (wrong), so I told her to do her homework better and put the phone down again. I checked the phone number and it was the same both times 02031295

Don't now how they got my details but received and email and phone calls on my private home phone number and private emails within minutes - fortunately I was out and have blocked the calls and domain. Had numerous calls from same company before Christma

2 or 3 silent calls a day - very annoying.
