They have no legal basis to chase most debts but they lie and say they have. Best ignore them, say nothing and hang up.

Because it was a 0900 number, decided not to risk answering it, as it could incur expensive charges. Now blocked!

The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). This is a scam number. I work selling white goods and had a customer complain that they were getting offered a warranty plan for a machine that was only 6 months old. Chase them as quickly as possible
