This number has tried numerous times to call my phone and i have answered it twice. The first time it was an indian sounding fella called "james" in a very noisy call centre wanting to speak to my wife and it was a welcome call as she had signed up to some website. I asked who was calling and he couldn t tell me because of data protection and i said data protection has got nothing to do with him telling me who the company was that was calling. He said that it did so i told him i thought he was full of s**t

Fraud saying they are about to suspend my national insurance number
Keeps phoning and not speaking. Then phones from a different number. 5 separate numbers sk far all exactly the same
Fraud Left a voicemail saying it's HMRC about a lawsuit, to call them back or have my soliciter get in touch or prepair to face the consequesnces. Blatently using a chopped-together recording. HMRC would always try to contact by post, not phone.

Be careful. I believe this is phishing cold calling because they didn’t even know my name. Any real fraud cases, especially financially motivates would be done properly. Automated call - recorded message saying was from HMRC and to confirm it's me by pressing 1 otherwise a warrant would be issued and I'd be arrested soon. Ignored as HMRC wouldn't disclose any personal info without first confirming data protection and they wouldn't call on a mobile number either.

SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS IF YOU ANSWER BECAUSE IT WONT COME UP AS SPAM CALLER
