Asian caller claiming to be from the carphone warehouse company (yeah right), about an exciting offer and he could give me the most up-to-date phone. I told him that I don't use mobile phones and just stayed quiet, he hung up about 2 minutes later. What an idiot, the muppet was talking to me on a mobile phone. Now blocked ????

SCAM Received a call from 01983 882 832 claiming to be a bank checking on two transactions they regarded as suspicious. Told to press 1 if ok and 2 to speak to someone. I hung up. Banks do not do this!

AUTOMATED CALL - SCAM Automated call saying there had been 2 attempts to pay for goods from my card, one of which was over £1000. Saying to complete my debit card details in order to prevent fraud. My bank would never leave a telephone message in such an event, and wouldn't ask for my bank details over the phone. Call was from Eastbourne
Missed the first bit but then mentioned magistrates court and taking it seriously and to talk to one of the officers dealing with the case press 1 - blocked!
Missed call Out of area code and don't trust these numbers so don't answer. Rang twice within a few hours no message left so assume spam!

It's a number for Royal Mail Slough delivery office, so should not be being given out by Ali express. Don't ring it, they must keep the phone off the hook because they are tired of all the calls they get through (incorrectly). If you want more info then just ring the normal royal mail customer services who will tell you if the tracking number is valid but only confirm whatever the Royal mail tracker says (which in my case doesn't even show that parcel has been sent to Royal Mail).

Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. SCAM This is a text from a scammer who's taking advantage of the legit cost of living payments. It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.
