SCAM. Nothing happened when I picked up - as in no one said or did anything. After a bit of research I found that other people also received a scam call from this number.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! This mobile is being used for a Royal Mail scam using fake website https://postoffice-redelivery-depot.com/ Do not click the link, report it to o2 so they can follow up with the police and national cyber crime centre.

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

Fraud Phone company is investigating this number based in Yorkshire as they found it was linked to my pay monthly account. So knew my personal details and set up a new line! I only found out about it due to a different investigation regarding “crossed lines” or someone basically listening in on my calls! Not only were they listening to calls but seemed to know who I was, this by quoting my full name before the call connected. I ONLY ever phone anonymously! ...we shall see...

Received a call from this number advising me that I had opened an account with them in 2015 and they had some info for me, I said that I was not interested, at this the caller got quite irate. One minute later on 07703290831 they rang back and started to be very abusive saying that I should not have hang-up on them. Both numbers have been blocked.

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back.
