Got a call from 07477139663 claiming to be HMRC and stated that a letter from them was not delivered and I will be persecuted unless I press 1 to speak to an agent... I am not convinced this is how HMRC operates so I hung up. Second time this has happened within the last week

Was offering me a discount with O2 as I was a loyal customer. Told him I was not with O2 and he said his system may not have updated so obviously not calling from O2 or on behalf of them
I had a missed call from this number and when I called back it said the number was not in service
Was told we were in the wrong council tax band. We're paying to much. If we let them do the legal work for a fee of about £90 or so! It would be sorted out for us. I hung up on them. Pretty sure this is a scam

Fraud Automated voice claiming to be HMRC and stating there is a letter of legal action incoming, asked me to follow instructions to speak to an agent, I hung up. As far as I know HMRC wont call you for any issues, they will contact you by post only.

Well, as I am visiting my Hospital for treatment at the moment and from what I read from other reviewers here, it does seem to be genuine and Free. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info. He asked why and I said he was calling from a random number and how do I know who he is. He said "Well I don't know. How DO you know who I am, I am calling from UK Tarrif." I hung up.
