Caller spoke in foreign language, took for attempts before he spoke in English then said it was Alex calling from BT Openreach about my internet connection. I told him it wasn?t BT then he swore profusely then hung up.

Male, didn t give name just company called me this morning to say my computer license would run out tomorrow unless I renewed it. I hung up and did 1471 to r8ng straight back - number doesn t acceptake calls. Do not give any details or pay Money this is a scaman.

Apparently a call from Microsoft about my computer. I didn t let him go any further, as it is a scam. Avoid.

Fraud - Number in actuality does not and never has existed.

This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. Alpine Services called me saying I had been involved in a motor accident, which of course I had not. Phishing. They are NOT CONNECTED in any way to Alpine Insurance Services Ltd of Hadleigh Essex, who have traded reputable for over 30 years and never made these type of nuisance calls.

The person had my Christian name. He made a speculative statement that I had had a minor traffic bump within the last 2 years. I have not, so it was easy to cut the call off.
