SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!
Fraud - recorded message about possible fraudulent activity on bank account. Message says to press 1 to authorise payments or 2 to confirm payments are fraudulent.
Called back after an hour, this time it was answered and they are a company trying to re-surface your drive. Nothing like dealing with local companies, we are on the south coast and they are in Doncaster!!

Monday May 8 Call from this number stating they were ringing from microsoft. This was one of a series of 6 calls starting on Friday 5th that stated they were (or were probably connected )from microsoft ! Different numbers used for each call; no messages left on answerphone. This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.
It was an automated message claiming to be from Coinbase. Claiming that I had been charged €1000 on my debit card. Then asked press one to speak to the dispute department.

caller said they were from virgin media. noticed i had a new phone, wanted to know how much I was paying, which I didn't tell them, as if it was really virgin they would have known, since I bought the phone from them
Didn't answer as clearly a scammer.
SCAM said an Iphone had been ordered from my account and to confirm this. They hung up shortly after as they could probably hear me laughing.

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.
