Automated call. Persistent bugger! I said I was at the police station and they immediately hung up so suspect it may be dodgy. Still regularly calls me so I am glad to waste their efforts.
Got several cold calls from an automated service under a withheld number about an accident which I supposedly had but giving no company details. Pressed 5 to try to speak to an actual human as I am registered with the TPS. Got a call back from "PM Legal" who are actually a company called Pro Money LTD (www.pro-money.co.uk). The chap who called was very polite. He said the high street banks had been fined again and had I taken out any ppi claims since 2013? If I hadn't he said he would be able to help me but I had to let him know which banks I had taken out the claims with. I told him I was busy and asked him to call back.

08000520360 - Texts received with sender’s name as VirginMedia for an overdue payment for Virgin Media. This is a scam as have no dealings with anything related to Virgin Media.
Call Centre (company ECC?) asking if I had claimed ppi and bank charges and when I said yes she asked if I had made any claims in the last 3 months as banks and financial institutes had been fined for not paying back everything they should. She claimed to be calling me back and I said I had never heard of her company so she couldn't be calling me back. She then appeared to be reading text from a screen and I just left her to it while I carried on about my business and then she hung up.

I also have been charged £10.00 on my latest bill. I did enquire on the DVLA website for my car tax and MOT and I did ask for a reminder, but I was under the impression that this service was done by the DVLA and not a random company that charges me £10. I've emailed them and they are processing a refund through post office however this really shouldn't have happened in the first place. Many people will sign up for this service and the charges will go unknowing and that's probably how they make their money.
