They then ask you to ring back with the voucher number. This voucher is cash so there is no way of retracing from the other side, in other words they scarper!!! My husband fell for this. Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.
01263 168750 phoned 3 times on Wed 9th Thurs 10th and Sun 13th Sept 2020. Did not leave any message. Think it is a spam caller.

SCAM from "HMRC" or some fake police department saying "you owe money and warrant out for arrest unless you pay X amount and call them back urgently do not ignore this message" etc it is absolutely not HMRC or police so avoid this number!!
