comments on another reverse lookup service suggest the number is being used by 118 to canvas businesses for entry in their directory.

This is the 3rd time this number has called me this month. The first 2 times the caller left a voice mail message to call them back. The caller was female and said her name was Lisa or Louisa, couldn t really tell as they spoke so quickly it was difficult to understand. No details of why they were calling. I did not call them back. The third call as soon as I answered they hung up. Note: If you don t answer their call they leave a voice mail, unfortunately at my expense!!!

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Has rung 24 times in the space of 10 days. Never leaves a message or rings long enough to answer.

Claimed to be from BT and that they were going to be disconnecting my internet due to problems my connection has been causing. Pay X and we wont disconnect you blah blah told them not with BT Woman on phone then claimed BT own the whole network and they could still disconnect my line. Completely Fake trying to operate on Fear mongering avoid these scammers at all costs!

Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. All subsequent attempts to refusal again have failed. .
