They called me and stated that a criminal offense has been registered in your name as you were caught in tax evasion. They also claim to be from the HMRC. Don't worry they are just scammers. The person said we'll take legal action against you. I told him to do whatever you want and he quit the phone call immediately

I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router.
