SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. I have been receiving late morning calls from this number on my landline for the last few days. I am ex-directory and do not know anyone in Preston. I suspect that it is probably a robotic marketing call because today I answered but nobody spoke and there was no message.
Rang the land line, and them immediately after my mobile. Both times the line went dead on answering.
Apologies for failing to click dangerous on my first attempt to review. This is a dangerous scamming attempt with a zero trust level.

The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.
Suspicious because the speaker sounded Indian or Asian and wanted to access my computer to ascertain its security. Said they were from TomTom but I felt very uneasy.

pretended to me that i had won an electric toothbrush i stupidly supplied some bank details for postage supposedly of 3 then they set up a recurring direct debit and took a further 2499 without my permission so i hurredly blocked them and changed my CC i am still awaiting reimbursment from my bank

Two interruptions from this number today. This is a TPS registered domestic telephone number, but with no message left on my answerphone I can only assume it's spam or a scam.

Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.

Call received regarding the 20 interest I paid to the HMRC for my PPI claim that I should be able to claim backquot Woop Woop the excitement I felt was a big fat ZERO as I have never made a PPI claim and if I did should the company I did the claim with not contact me to arrange the refund to me I advised the lovely lady who loved calling me Ms Amanda that I am not interested in the scam or in giving them any of my bank details and to remove me from the database immediately
This number is attached to a PayPal request for £749.99 from a Brad Faylo ([email protected]) I declined the request, obviously, but it mentions fraudulent activity in my account debiting £749.99 GBP for iFLY gift cards.

Claiming to be a company called Phones Ltd about a 40% discount code for o2 - even though that’s not my network provider. Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Trying to hack into my details. Do NOT give any details to this caller!!

Asks for your details on first page including date of birth then on next page says there is a small redelivery charge for new time slot and asks for credit card details. I rang the number 01634250475 & noted when I checked with "who called me" that it stated it was Halifax Bank. So I rang the number and lady with foreign accent answered but she was not employed by Halifax bank so I put the phone down. Hope this helps somewon.

Scam artists who'll lie that they're your energy provider, they're not just trying to move you onto their services anyway possible. This has been happening for years to me different number everytime and they'll agree with anything I say. Lately they've tried to be National Grid, they're desperate for my meter readings. I have checked it is not my supplier. They're a very coniving and devious organisation - whoever they may be.
