We were plagued by this number in many different guises one member of staff being threatened and told that is was the local police. we were sent very very poor copies of magazines, we made a decision to call a random sample of other ads and EVERY ONE claimed thay had been scammed, these people prey on small businesses who can neither afford to lose the initial amount and even less so can afford to take these scum to court.

Caller is scammer who contacts victims via ads placed on Gumtree for rental accomodation. Caller uses mobile phone to seek deposit for non existent property.
