I have no idea who could be from this number as I have had two calls from somewhere in France last week as well and I don't know anyone there either as I'm an OAP I can only assume that this is some kind of scam .I find it very worrying and am worried how they came across my number

spam call pretenting to be a IT recruiter looking for contracting job. Does not leave you by if you let the person know that you are not interested or you dont know about the information they ask. Too invasive and prying to know more contacts in your firm. Stay away.

Probable scam. Didn’t answer but when I called back I had a message saying the number was not in use. This is a red flag for a scammer!

02036109310 SCAM I believe, Claimed to be Edward from virgin media about my firewall protection...was very keen to want to send me something on my mobile. He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?

020 80583227 Spam / fraud / phishing call. Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. SCAM This number called on my land line with a recoded message stating that my internet was to be cut off within the next 24 to 48 hours because of illegal activity. If I needed to speak to an executive manager I instructed to press 1 on my handset. The internet was not cut off nor has been interrupted. This is a scam.
