Trying to sell warranties on TVs: apparently we have a Samsung CRT in our front room which they d like to protect with a warranty, even though we have insurance and whatnot, and it s about 20 years old. Very difficult to get rid of: had to explain only watch 4hrs TV a week and had three spare TVs in house (also Internet TV) before caller went away.

this company must have rung me 30 times in the last few weeks. Uses a local landline prefix but is not a local number which is very very irritating. I rang them back today (I had blocked but they still keep ringing) to find out and was told basically it is relating to car accidents - I had one 5 years ago and this is the unremitting aftermath.
