When I tried to politely decline advertising, I was told abruptly that the caller would call me again next year! Very aggressive and unnecessary.

Apparently I have won several thousand dollars in a US draw without buying a ticket. I was given a reference number but it sounds very much like a scam.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Caller wanting to talk about delivery of wardrobes. When you call them back, expect to be placed in a queue that takes ages to reduce. I have tried 3 times and given up after 15 mins each time. Must be costing me a fortune from my mobile phone!
