I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. I phoned the number and gave up after 57 minute being on hold. They called my friend, an automated voice possibly promoting a scam, pretending to be the UK Gov. Figured I'd report this here.
Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. I ve never paid this amount of PPI. And it sounds to me as though the Paysafe vouchers are something which these fraudsters have set up so that when I buy the vouchers from the
