This was a recording saying that £800 had been taken from my credit card by an American Gambling Company. At this point I hung up as I don’t have a visa credit card. THIS IS A SCAM?

Fraud - Someone asking for my investment profile and if I would be interested investing into a company.

They offered me a 40% discount on my EE bill. I checked with EE and its a scam, nothing to do with EE. They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

A local number but automatic voice saying to be from the bank saying there had been charges against my account SCAM. Must be piggy backing on a local number somehow

This number sent me a text on 26/02/2023 at 15:58 telling me to use the 6 digit authentication code it sent me to unfreeze my Facebook account. I called this number later and got Tesco mobile voicemail.

SCAM Eastern European Accent - Matthew Rogers from the International Fob Watch. Asked how I was, I said fine. I said what's this about, sounds interesting. The caller went silent, i could hear them and then they hung up. Suspect this is possibly an investment scam...at a guess. Certainly getting the block treatment.

Caller said she was from Microsoft that they had been a security leak on my computer. Microsoft do not make such calls

Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

This is likely to be a robot caller looking for legitimate numbers so they can harvest them for telemarketing. They know its a valid number when you answer it

SCAM Asian sounding lady called "Lisa Williams" apparently calling about my bt openreach box experiencing problems.I don't have bt, told where to go. This seems to be a pattern of using the surname Williams, I'm expecting Robbie to phone me next as I've had "Charles"on the phone too lol!

Called and asked for very confidential information. I caught the scam and didnt give it to them. They are a danger to society and a threat to children. I am not free to reveal any more details but beware of this number.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.

Ive been called every two months for the last 8 years asking for a miss Elizabeth Langford and Ive told them every single time Ive never known anyone of that name and please remove my number from your system This time round I lost it and told the Scottish sounding woman she was dead when the caller apologised I then told her to F off and dont ever ring me again Im sure it wont stop unless I change my phone number Id love to find out who this person is
