SCAM purported to be from Royal Mail saying charge due for parcel delivery with a link to website. I doubt Royal Mail would use text messages like this, and how would they have your mobile number anyway? Don’t follow link even if you are expecting a parcel.

This number together with other number within the range of 07957 422000 to 07957 422999 is being used by the National Crime Agency (NCA) scammers trying to target UK citizens to get them to reveal data to them and probably to ripped off your Bank details. I have had 4 calls in the last 24 hours from 4 seaparate numbers within the above range. I was already aware of this scam so I did not press 1 after listerning to the automated message. Normally I don't answer unknown numbers but expecting an engineer.

As others, I have received numerous calls from this number, twice messages have been left from an obviously recorded/robotic voice pertaining to be an HMRC Officer - first time from Bristol, second from London. Threatening action but without saying what for. Ignore the message and block the number.

SCAM Caller advised that they were calling from UK Benefits Office and I was eligible for compensation. They had received on notification that I was owed PPI claim on a loan. I have no loan history nor credit cards or mortgages, I know I am not eligible. But he was persistent and not happy that I didn't want to confirm my bank details to receive my compensation. BLOCKED!

called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off!
