Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....

He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. This damned number has called us umpteen times this morning; the phone rings just once or twice. It is infuriating

Only wanted to speak to owner of business. When asked about his company he gave the company name. When I asked what they did he spoke to me as if I was stupid and said "we finance Companies". When I said we were ok thanks he sneered as me and said "yeh right", so I said goodbye and hung up. Whatever they are trying to sell they will get no customers with that attitude. Do not answer unless you want to be spoken down to.

Apparently I have won several thousand dollars in a US draw without buying a ticket. I was given a reference number but it sounds very much like a scam.
