SCAM text received advising me a standing order hade been set up for 500+ for life insurance on my Lloyds account . I don’t. And have never banked with Lloyds . The number they asked me to call by return is also flagged as a suspicious number . 01332556003

Known scam 0845 and 0843 numbers call for a second or two. They rely on you to call back as the number looks official. You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. So you end up paying for the scam and your phone company probably won't help as you made the call willingly.

TAXES / HMRC - Texted me this “ GOV-UK: Due to an overpayment of tax, you are eligible for a tax refund. To claim, please visit: https://tax-calculation-register.com/”. I knew it was an imposter because I instantly saw a +44 number . Be careful .

DO NOT have anything to do with this number, IT IS A SCAM. They are trying to get you to give them info to get into your bank account. Report this. BEWARE.

SCAM Alert! They are scamming by hacking the phone and giving a call to this number via your phone. Recently I was charged for calling this number and I was unable to understand why so. The calling amount is getting added to my bill.

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

I received a text from 07547 153344 this morning claiming it was from Evri. It was about a missed parcel delivery and asked me to click on a link to complete a form to reschedule it. I have ignored it as I am not expecting a delivery and the message did not look like other messages I have received from Evri in the past.
