They are scammers pretending to be Virgin media. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.

The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Scam artists who'll lie that they're your energy provider, they're not just trying to move you onto their services anyway possible. This has been happening for years to me different number everytime and they'll agree with anything I say. Lately they've tried to be National Grid, they're desperate for my meter readings.
