Called about energy supplier. Asked what she wanted.She said she was not selling anything but would not tell me why she phoned so I hung up.One of these nuisance calls!

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

Scammers/liars/phishing. Calling TPS registered numbers, insurance scam insisting they have details of a non existent car accident.

I received a call from this number this afternoon but no voicemail was left so I didn t know who called. I later received a call from 01702454081, which seemed a coincidence. This was from Insure and Go. They were following up an online quote for travel insurance so it was really not entirely a cold call .

This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! If you re unsure if the call is legit, simple hang up!!!! Do not give out any personal info to a stranger that has phoned you.

Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you.
