I answered the call on the second ring - sounded like an automated call - I heard the word Chinese but everything else was gobbledegook to me. I hung up as I assume its another scammer.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Received an email from ' PAYPAL' about a fruadulent activity of £899.99 I contacted the above number and they sent me a 6 digit security number to my mobile and also told me my last 4 digits on my card !!! Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.
This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. Report and block their numbers, they don't turn up either.

Called by this number, person knew my name then started saying weird things about my mother's body.
cliamed that I got a document hold by the Chinese embassy(I am a Chinese), but hang up ASAP when I pick it up and speak. Apparently it is a fraud phone number.
