Domestic and General asking me if I wanted to have breakdown cover for my fridge freezer and cooker as well as my washing machine ( which I currently have). A bit insistent when I said no, and asked why so when I said ‘because I don’t want to’ she ended the call. It was quite a friendly manner but as above, quite pushy. SCAM First of all said they were from Windows, wanted me to turn on my computer so they could stop the hackers who had been trying to get my personal information. They said if I didn't turn on the computer now they would block everything, stop it from working and the hackers would use my information to get access to my accounts. When I asked them to speak to someone in the house who works in IT security they rang off quickly.

This number came through as an incoming call 2 times whilst I was already on a work call, Monday 27th March 2023. No voicemail was left. I tried calling it back and an automated message played with the first word barely audible, I’m pretty sure it says “[inaudible word] circuits are busy now”

I am not a Prime member and they don’t have my card. It’s a scam to get your money. Don’t do it. Wish these numbers could be blocked like on mobiles.
