SCAM - Tried claiming they were Lloyds Banking and that there was suspicious activity saying large amounts of money was attempted to be charged to my account.
SCAM - home appliance washing machine. Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.

Not sure if it is a scam, but concerned they knew my name, and what domestic appliances I have. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. This was a call centre clearly form India. I did not entertain the call.
Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.
This number messaged saying "u ve got mail!" and then sent a link which goes on the sky broadband shield webpage nI blocked the number.
