Man claimed to be from Microsoft and knew my name. Asked if I had a computer. As I did not answer and just kept asking him how he got our number (we are registered with TPS) he said it was from publicly available sources! He then said as I was not cooperating he would cut me off straight away. Extremely concerning due to his bullying attitude and tendency to answer back rather than ending the call as most of them do.

SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later. She'd done the "How are you this morning?", like a lot of the phone scams do. Nothing was said about security questions! Suspect this was another scam call.
Called our TPS registered number trying to sell insurance.
I have had three calls in 5 hours from this number today. I was less than polite the third time!
Received call from this number asked if I was who I was then hung up. Tried to call them back with no success. Strange to have been on a local dial code.

wouldn’t answer as nearly all capquest numbers are 07794 986 xxx. It is just the last 3 change around but they are usually around the 250 mark. The chances of anyone else ringing me first thing in the morning off the same number are very very slim indeed! (I’m ex PI and this case should never have gone into debt collection, beware of Greenstar energy!)

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. Call to landline today 07.05.2021 at 11.45am. No message left. Number not known to us and no information online. Area code is Swansea, so it s almost certainly a call centre.
